STROBE INTO THE

FUTURE WITH THE

ULTRA VIOLET MAKEUP TREND

March 1, by Amanda Etkind

This spring, we’re taking the high-shine, wet-looking colour of the viral K-Beauty Glass Skin Trend to the next level with Glass Lips. “We've done glass skin – this is an updated take on the trend for lips,” says Alexandra French, Makeup Artist.

Create this chic, see-through look with glossy lips that layer textures and juicy, sheer colours. Achieve it with your favourite Lip Pencil and other layering techniques to give lips a rounded, hyper-reflective, glass-like shine. You can use any shades you crave – but we’re seeing raspberry, pink and other translucent shades dominating the trend.

Our NEW Lipglass Air Non-Sticky Gloss is essential to create this look thanks to its juicy colour, translucent finish and stick-free texture. “The colours are beautiful and they’re not too intense,” says French. “It just gives a little bit of something to the lips —and it pairs with any lip liner.”

As a final step, lock the gloss in with the Powder Sandwich Technique: Simply layer Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation under your lip products and around the perimeter of lips as the final step.

LOOK 2: Drench lips in glass-like pink shine with NEW Lipglass Air Non-sticky Gloss in Snobbish and other must-haves.

1. Prep lips and skin with Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation.

2. Slightly overline lips with Lip Pencil in Whirl, creating a rounded shape for a plumper look.

3. Smooth on Lipglass Air Non-Sticky Gloss in Snobbish, then lock in the look by dusting Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation along the perimeter of lips using the Powder Sandwich Technique.
